Former Fire Chief Of Hudson Valley Department Dies

A fire department in the Hudson Valley has announced the death of one of its former chiefs.

In a social media post on Sunday, Feb. 4, the Brewster Fire Department in Putnam County announced the death of former Chief and Commissioner Thomas Palmer.

Palmer led the department from 1996 to 1998, the department said.

More information about Palmer's death, including funeral arrangements, has not yet been announced.
